Inside a CP broodstock multiplication center

In lunar-like greenhouses under Thailand's tropical sun, Charoen Pokphand Foods' (CP) operates a multi-million dollar shrimp breeding program.

The program produces shrimp bred for fast growth and tolerance to diseases, which are sought after by hatcheries around the world which produce post-larvae for shrimp farms.

In the summer of 2019, Undercurrent News went behind the scenes at one of the centers.
