The company operates a large-scale tilapia farming, processing, distribution and sales business in Ghana and is seeking to employ a well-rounded and energetic General Manager to oversee the production side (farming) of the company.

The successful candidate must have proven experience and success in large-scale aquaculture cage farming operations with an emphasis on management and leadership, administrative structures, productivity, planning, and communication (in English) skills.

This position requires a degree of specialised expertise and skill in implementing and maintaining standards of quality and accuracy. In addition, the successful candidate will have the drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach to achieving results that meet the established criteria.

The General Manager will report to the CEO and will be expected to improve efficiencies by refining the management team, effectively utilising human capital, and applying appropriate mechanisation and automation in order to take the company through the next stage of expansion from 10,000 to 30,000 tonnes per annum.

Remuneration

From US$135,000 per annum commensurate with experience and capability plus significant participation in company performance.
