Job description

Position Summary:

The Lobster Sales Manager will be responsible for managing lobster sales to our domestic customer base, which include wholesalers, supermarkets, restaurants and seafood markets across the United States.

Responsibilities:

  •         Maintain relationships with existing customers, source new customers
  •         Manage customer orders on a daily basis; enter orders, set price, terms, delivery method, etc
  •         Communicate with members of the team to coordinate timely delivery of the product
  •         Address customer issues in a professional manner
  •         Understand changing market dynamics that impact pricing for our product offering
  •         Assist in the credit management and collection process
  •         Perform other responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

  •   3+ years of lobster sales experience required
  •   Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  •   Basic computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  •   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  •   Effective oral and written communication skills with ability to build strong relationships
  •   Self-motivated, high energy, hands-on, team player
