Job description
Position Summary:
The Lobster Sales Manager will be responsible for managing lobster sales to our domestic customer base, which include wholesalers, supermarkets, restaurants and seafood markets across the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships with existing customers, source new customers
- Manage customer orders on a daily basis; enter orders, set price, terms, delivery method, etc
- Communicate with members of the team to coordinate timely delivery of the product
- Address customer issues in a professional manner
- Understand changing market dynamics that impact pricing for our product offering
- Assist in the credit management and collection process
- Perform other responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of lobster sales experience required
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Basic computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Effective oral and written communication skills with ability to build strong relationships
- Self-motivated, high energy, hands-on, team player
