Marketing Coordinator Boston, MA
Summary
Slade Gorton is looking for a Marketing Coordinator. The Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for taking on a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, the creation distribution, and organization of sales support content; the development of marketing strategies to boost sales revenues; and the preparation of company events and trade shows. The Marketing Coordinator must be able to accurately meet project deadlines in a fast paced, corporate sales environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and produce price lists, point of sales materials, market research reports, white papers and presentations
- Maintain marketing asset database
- Research and monitor industry competitors and products
- Distribute content through a variety of mediums
- Assist in promotional planning and new product launches
- Assist in trade show design, logistics and staffing
- Create, manage and track inventory of all sales gifts
- Assist in maintaining third-party product database systems
- Explore new technologies and third-party services that increase organizational efficiencies
Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience in sales support; marketing design experience a plus
- Highly organized, keen sense of time management and self-motivated
- Attention to detail and able to take direction
- Ability to work in multiple teams across different departments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills
- Proficient researcher
Education and Experience
- BS/BA Marketing or related fields
Computer and Other Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
- Social media – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest
- Experience within the food or seafood manufacturing industries a plus
