The US' 2020 election is happening now and it's all anyone can talk about, as it's an ugly throw-down fight with the White House and the Senate both up for grabs. But it's not just about the topics you see debated every night on national network news programs. There are numerous issues on the line for the seafood industry, too, that you aren't hearing talked about, including everything from resolving trade wars to commercial fishing in the national monuments to regulations aimed at saving whales to the expansion of aquaculture.
