Due to growth and expansion, Avramar is now seeking a talented Director of
Retail Sales, North America who will work closely with the Commercial Leadership
Team to develop and execute growth strategies for the US and Canadian markets.
The role will achieve ambitious targets through prioritized channel and customer
strategies based on data and insights. This key position will develop demand
creation strategies for the group’s fresh and developing species businesses
and value-added.
Avramar is seeking an experienced professional with well-established customer
relationships in the retail channels with also industry knowledge of other sales
channels like food service. This person will be sales leader with the ability influence
to generate excitement and momentum around the group’s North American expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to develop and execute an overall retail strategy
in North America, achieving ambitious growth goals. - Establish annual sales and marketing plan, including strategies, tactics,
and identifying necessary resources. - Directly implementing sales strategies and best practices to exceed
targets for species and assigned territories. - Manage the retail sales strategies, including retail, club, and import/wholesale.
- Recommend sales strategies based on market research, competitor
analyses, and customer insights. - Design and lead execution of a value-added expansion strategy
(fresh and frozen) in collaboration with Marketing and Operations. - Contribute to organizational growth plan in line with business growth.
Experience and Skills:
- Is respected in the North American retail sector with 7 + years of experience
working closely with key accounts - Strong written and oral communication skills and highly effective interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic business environment
- The position requires domestic and international travel.
- A history of developing detailed business growth strategies and executing
them successfully - College degree preferred

This position will be work from home, with the preference that the candidate
is located on the east coast of the United States. As the organization grows,
a North American branch office may be required.
