King & Prince Seafood is seeking outstanding candidates for Procurement Manager – Shrimp to drive growth and profitability in our value-added global seafood business.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a world class team, work remotely, and travel internationally as key player in the seafood industry.

What you will do:

The Procurement Manager – Shrimp develops and executes strategic sourcing and purchasing plans for shrimp raw materials to optimize manufacturing operations, exceed customer expectations and maximize total value for the business.  This position builds strong partnerships with key international suppliers, leverages relevant raw material markets, applies data-driven sourcing practices, and maintains an effective supply network.

This is a fully remote position.

What you need:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or closely related field

·         At least 8 years of experience in protein procurement, shrimp preferred

·         Strong network with international seafood suppliers

·         Knowledge of strategic sourcing concepts and methods

·         Excellent negotiation skills

·         CPM certification preferred

·         Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and financial skills

·         Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel, Word and Powerpoint

·         Experience with ERP/MRP planning systems strongly preferred

·         Effective interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills

·         Willing and able to travel internationally a minimum of 25% or as business needs require
