Hiddenfjord is a privately owned salmon farming company with roots back to 1887. The owners, two Faroese brothers, are passionate about sustainability, animal welfare and perfecting how salmon is raised. The products are free from hormones and GMO, and since 3 years back, no salmon is transported by air, lowering the CO₂ footprint for overseas transportation by 94%.

Hiddenfjord is the only 100% Faroese salmon farming company and produces high-quality salmon that is raised in the most exposed farming sites in the world. This provides the foundation for the products’ unique clean taste and quality. They have a unique method of stress-free harvesting, gutting, cleaning, packaging, and transporting their salmon.

Hiddenfjord is now looking to increase their sales team in Europe, and are looking for a Regional Sales Manager, based in France. As the Regional Sales Manager you will work closely with the global sales team to sell their premium products and grow the customer base. You can work from home office in France, and the role will require traveling within France and occasional traveling abroad (mainly Europe) to meet with customers, participate in fairs, expos & events, and attend employee gatherings in the headquarters in the Faroe Islands. This role will report to the Sales Director.

Your responsibility areas in this role will be:

·        Selling premium salmon products (whole fresh salmon, fresh salmon filets and frozen salmon filets) suited for fine dining or sushi restaurants.

·        Finding and growing a customer base, mainly in France, but also in other nearby European countries.

·        Keeping good customer relations with the right kind of customers, long term.

·        Managing to sell what is available at a premium product price level.

·        Market and customer analysis, and staying updated on market dynamics and prices.

 We hope that you have:

·        3+ years from sales, preferably from the seafood industry, food wholesale, restaurant supply or similar. Experience of premium product sales is an advantage.

·        Knowledge of the seafood industry and Business acumen.

·        Fluency in French and English. Knowledge of more languages is an advantage.
