Skretting Aquaculture Innovation is currently looking for an experienced Researcher in aquaculture nutrition with an innovative mindset and sound collaborative skills. In this role you will be a key player in the development of novel solutions optimising shrimp nutrition for our fast growing aquafeed operations world-wide.
Tasks and responsibilities
- You’ll plan, coordinate, and execute research studies related to shrimp nutrition.
- You’ll investigate and address challenges in nutritional formulations and support new product development.
- You’ll provide technical support relating to nutritional issues to our operating companies.
- You’ll manage collaborative projects with internal and external partners.
- You’ll communicate results and findings to our key stakeholders; assist in implementation of innovations.
- You’ll play a key part in the evolution of aquafeeds.
What we ask and what you bring
- PhD in a field related to aquaculture or animal nutrition, or equivalent work experience in these fields.
- Experience with shrimp nutrition and aqua feed formulation are an advantage but not a requirement.
- Competence in scientific research principles, experimental design, and proficiency in statistics.
- Ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders, internal and external.
- Fluency in English.
